This programme offers you training and development to support your pathway into work. You will develop your skills by attending one of our funded accredited programmes listed below:

  • Level 1 Award in Basic Construction Skills
  • Level 1 Certificate in Skills for Employment, Training and Personal Development
  • Level 1 Certificate in Occupational Studies for the Workplace
  • Level 2 Award in Forklift Truck Operations
  • Level 2 Certificate in The Principles of Warehousing and Storage

The Ticket to Work programme also includes a choice of one or two of the ‘tickets’ from the options listed below.

This training is an important step for every level of operators so that they will get the knowledge as well as experience that is needed for the safe operation of this equipment. Along with the practical, the training also includes theoretical knowledge that helps in knowing more about the operating techniques and skills that do not lead to any risks of accidents.

CSCS

CSCS is the leading skills certification scheme within the UK construction industry.

CSCS cards provide proof that individuals working on construction sites have the required training and qualifications for the type of work they carry out.

The Scheme keeps a database of people working in construction who have achieved or are committed to achieving a recognised construction related qualification.

Cards available include Green, Red and Black

Forklift Truck (FLT)

Fully accredited fork lift training for operators and instructors on all types of lift trucks. All experience levels are catered for; novice courses are provided and for those with existing experience and refresher courses.

All of our training courses meet the latest standards set by the Accrediting Bodies Association – Workplace Transport (ABA) who are advised on training by the HSE.

What is the CCNSG Safety Passport Course by ECITB?

The nationally accredited CCNSG Safety Passport course and the scheme are designed to enable contractors to improve health, safety, and environmental awareness while at work on site. The Engineering Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB) accredited passport will also benefit your company by reducing accident rates and incident-related costs while putting a stop to repetitive health and safety inductions.

This 1 day course is for people who are new to scaffolding.

Existing CISRS Scaffolding Labourer (green) Card holders also need to take this course to renew their card every five years.

The course teaches the basics of the industry and how to work safely with scaffolding and access equipment.
