Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Work Supervision (Construction)

This Level 3 NVQ has been developed for achievement in a real workplace environment
which means you need to be employed to undertake this qualification.

This qualification enables you, the learner, to demonstrate and recognise your skills,
knowledge and understanding and to demonstrate your competence in a real workplace
environment within the construction industry.

On completion you will progress in the workplace by taking on more responsibility and
achieve supervisor status.

 

To achieve this qualification a minimum of 8 units must be achieved.

As part of this course you will complete 6 Mandatory Units:

  • Confirming the Occupational Method of Work in the Workplace
  • Confirming Work Activities and Resources for an Occupational Work Area in the Workplace
  • Co-ordinating and Organising Work Operations in the Workplace
  • Developing and Maintaining Good Occupational Working Relationships in the Workplace
  • Implementing and Maintaining Health, Safety, Environmental and Welfare Practices in the Workplace
  • Monitoring Progress of Work Against Schedules in the Workplace

You must also select 2 units from the Optional Unit Group:

  • Allocating and monitoring the use of plant, machinery, equipment or vehicles in the
    workplace
  • Confirming work meets contractual, industry and manufacturers’ standards in the workplace
  • Co-ordinating and Confirming the Dimensional Control Requirements of the Work in the Workplace
  • Implementing procedures to support team performance in the workplace
