Isaac was working as a chef part-time as well as working for himself as a window cleaner.  He was looking for a career change and after been told about our programme from a friend he immediately signed himself up.  Issac also thought his skills as a window cleaner would be beneficial but on a much larger scale once he achieved his ropes certificate.

Daniel worked at Render Alarms for over 2 years and found himself unhappy in his role, Daniel was looking at the possibility of a career change.  After hearing about our programme Daniel thought it was a fantastic opportunity and just what he was looking for.

After being in the British Army for over 2 years Corban found it difficult to find work.  He had been unemployed for over a year before he seen our course poster online.  He thought it would be a perfect opportunity for him to try a new career path and build a stable future, so he signed himself up at the earliest opportunity.

Craig has worked within the Scaffolding industry for over 20 years first starting as a trainee then to Level 2.  Craig feels he has now got the experience to advance to the Level 3 NVQ and felt our programme would assist with his future goals of working overseas.

Our assessor spoke very highly of Craig especially regarding his kind and willing nature.  It was also noted that Craig had a fantastic support network with his employer and supervisor who were really encouraging and supportive throughout the duration on the NVQ.

Craig completed the course and his portfolio showing a good understanding of the role of an advanced scaffolder with solid answers to the underpinning knowledge questions. Since completing the course Craig has gone on to receive a pay increase from his employer and is looking for job opportunities abroad.

After having over 12 years’ experience within the industry Craig felt he was ready to take the next step and progress to the Level 3 qualification to enable him to achieve his future goal of being an industry supervisor.

Craig has a really good knowledge of all aspects of scaffolding and amazing work experience, which has helped him complete this program and in turn will give him the best opportunity to become a supervisor for his current job role at ALTRAD.

After been unemployed for several months Callum was looking for a different career path with opportunities to grow.  After seeing our programme advertised online, he believed it would be ideal for him to enhance his current skill set and help him in a new career path into the industrial painting sector. 

Callum was going to use this course as a stepping stone into the offshore industry as he already held his GWO and felt like he could use skills he already had in that trade to take off on this new career as an Industrial Painter.  Callum engaged well throughout the programme and achieved all his learning goals.  Now he has completed the programme and gone on to gain employment he is thankful to Tradetechs for chance to better his future.

Bailey was looking for a career change and after seeing our advertisement he thought our course would be a fantastic opportunity for him to gain a stable career in an area he was interested in.   Bailey had always wanted to work offshore with his father however, he never had the money to fund the courses he needed.

Adam was working as a self-employed bricklayer working on different sites around the North-East area.  His work was really dependent on the weather, and he found that he was unable to work as much as he wanted.  Adam really wanted a change in career, something more stable and secure.  He also hoped that he would get the chance to work away as that was something that interested him having not done it before. 

Adam saw a poster advertising our programme and thought it was perfect for what he was looking for.  Now he has completed the programme and gone on to gain employment he is really pleased he took the opportunity offered by TradeTechs.

I thoroughly enjoyed the workshops on stress management and health & wellbeing. They really made me think about my staff and how I could best support them during difficult times.

I would say for anyone to do these workshops as the tutor was very engaging and knowledgeable.
