What you'll cover

The GWO Advanced Rescue Training (ART) course is designed for wind industry personnel who may be required to perform advanced rescue operations within wind turbine environments. The training develops rescue skills beyond those covered in GWO Working at Height and focuses on rescuing injured personnel from turbines using industry-standard rescue equipment and techniques.

This course is suitable for wind turbine technicians, maintenance personnel, team leaders and supervisors, and personnel responsible for emergency response within wind turbines.

How it's delivered

3-day course combining theory and practical rescue exercises.

Outcome

Delegates are assessed through practical rescue exercises and instructor observation. Successful candidates receive a GWO Advanced Rescue Training (ART) Certificate recognised throughout the global wind industry. Valid for 2 years — refresher training required before expiry.
