The GWO First Aid (BST) course provides the essential emergency response knowledge and practical skills required for working safely in onshore and offshore wind turbine environments. Developed by the Global Wind Organisation (GWO), this module trains individuals to recognise life‑threatening conditions, deliver immediate first aid, and respond effectively during incidents in remote or high‑risk wind industry settings.

Classroom-based course delivered over 1 days with practical and theoretical assessments.
Outcome
Delegates complete both practical and theoretical first aid assessments. Successful candidates receive a GWO First Aid Certificate, recognised throughout the global wind energy industry. The qualification is valid for 2 years, and refresher training is required before expiry.
